Let's Get Real

 

 

 

     Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman! Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a speeding locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

     Let's get real, because reality is more fantastic than TV or the movies. Yes, far, far beyond both of those mediums. If you look up in the sky and see what you conceive to be a bird at first, then a plane, etc., it will be, not Superman, but our Lord Jesus Christ descending in his glory with a vast multitude of angels surrounding him. This is a real and promised sight. If you want real excitement and adventure, fasten your seatbelt and get on our Lord's Christian train. Our God is handing out assignments for strange and mysterious lands populated by people crying out in these wildernesses for the Lord's mercy. Think being Christian is a boring cakewalk? Millions of martyr positions are still open. Of course, you do not have to die serving to impress God, but, as Reverend King said, "A man who believes in nothing worth dying for, is a life not worth living."

     Serve something bigger than yourself. Experience getting spit on, kicked, tortured, imprisoned, and great spiritual joy for it all. Come join us, the meek and nerdy little Christians that stand up to much bigger and more dangerous tyrants than these people running for president that you seem to think have superpowers over you and your life. When God is on your side, who can defeat you. Our Lord Jesus defeated the one enemy that can end your life - death.
