LOOK INWARD TO SEE UPWARD

 

 

Look! Up in the sky - it's a bird - a plane - yeah, just a passenger plane, not superman. 

You need to look inward, to see upward. In other words, life is complicated and suicidal too many times without looking inward - to the spiritual side our Lord has blessed us so abundantly with - the Holy Spirit. Only, when you begin to make looking inward a habit, then will you begin to build a relationship with God.

Don't worry, he knows every second of your life; the good and the bad. His love is so great that he loves infinitely beyond your human imperfections. Our Lord created you to live forever with him. All of us need a little spring-cleaning before that happens. 

Start by throwing your years of garbage out that has been cluttering up your spirit, because God is going to renovate that Holy Spirit wardrobe of yours in elegant and dazzling new clothes. How family and friends will be dumbstruck by the new you. 

Oh, my goodness, yes, you'll still miss the mark, sin, too often, but you'll be hooked by the forgiveness and love of God. Your friends will be astounded, too. You'll walk and talk with power, compassion, and truth. So - come join with God to begin the relationship he died for on that cross. Ain't much more love from anyone than to sacrifice your own son; ask Abraham.
